City-Private Party Cooperate to Implement Cashless Transaction

Jakarta Provincial Government cooperates with private party related to operation of cashless transaction.

We no longer make payments with cash, but we do with cashless

Jakarta Deputy Governor, Sandiaga Uno expressed, through cashless transaction, it gives many benefits. Besides ensuring a more efficient economy, it can also reduce leakage and improve the performance of the financial industry.

"Taxes and levies are also very facilitated by the implementation of digital technology. Surely we must see its effectiveness," he stated, after he held a meeting with private party related to cashless transaction cooperation, at City Hall, Tuesday (5/22). 

DKI Becomes Role Model for Cashless Transaction

The city is committed to conduct all transactions through non-cash system.

"We no longer make payments with cash, but we do with cashless," he told.

He added the city also focuses on job creation, and digital economy contributes greatly to the economy.

"We want to push the economy, as it will effectively reduce the gap and create jobs," he stated.
